“There can be miracles when you believe!”
So Jesus said to them, “Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. (Matthew 17:20)
How great is your faith?
What role does journaling play in that?
What role are daily habits playing in growing your faith?
Yesterday evening, my wife and I went to DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution) Constitution Hall in Washington DC …

God loves people more than any thing.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
What does it mean to you to trust in the Lord with all your heart?
In what area of your life is God asking you to let go and let God?
The acts of God are what He does in our lives. For many Christians, the entire focus of their lives is what God can do for them …

“It’s always too soon to quit on the LORD.” – Rev. Mark Jarvis
Then they came to the place of which God had told him. And Abraham built an altar there and placed the wood in order; and he bound Isaac his son and laid him on the altar, upon the wood. And Abraham stretched out his hand and took the knife to slay his son. But the Angel of the LORD called to him from heaven and said, “Abraham, Abraham!” So he said, “Here I am.” And He said, “Do …

“With God’s strength; for God’s Glory!” – Jamie Whitmore’s race mantra
In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ, (1 Peter 1:6-7)
When was the last time you were touched – deeply moved by something you didn’t expect?
On March 13, I received an email titled …

“All the great things are simple, and many can be expressed in a single word: freedom; justice; honor; duty; mercy; hope” – Winston Churchill
“Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.” (Matthew 7:13-14)
How great is your faith?
If you were on trial for being a Christian, how much evidence would …

Faith makes things possible, not easy.
But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?” (Luke 10:29)
Who is my neighbor? How should I respond?
Yesterday I attended all three morning worship services at the Culpeper United Methodist Church. Pastor Randy Orndorff allowed David Bean and me to support Sam Reeves and Operation Rescue Liberia during each service by sharing short testimonies of how God moved in our lives to get us involved. The Holy Spirit moved in power to inspire other people to get involved.
Around 7 AM …

A life spent making mistakes is not only more honorable but more useful than a life spent in doing nothing. – George Bernard Shaw
And the people said to Joshua, “The LORD our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!” (Joshua 24:24)
What would you do if there was no way you could fail?
A few weeks ago, Rick Heeren referred me to Richard Gazowsky, founder of Christian WYSIWYG Filmworks, as a possible web client. Subsequent to that, I began receiving periodic emails from Richard, who lives in San Francisco, …

‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ (Jeremiah 33:3)
How can you take God out of the box?
When I went to Argentina for the first time in October 2005 for the 15th International Institute on Nation Transformation sponsored by Harvest Evangelism, I met Chuck Ripka. He wrote four chapters in Rick Heeren’s book “The Elk River Story.” Chuck played a lead …

“The law of Christ cannot prevail until the law of evolution is toppled.”
For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. (1 Corinthians 1:18)
What is the root of the problem in our culture in America? In Europe? In the world?
At 7 p.m. EST on Saturday August 4, I watched the Coral Ridge Hour on TBN (Trinity Broadcast Network). Dr. D. James Kennedy’s shared an outstanding sermon titled “The Root of the Problem.”

But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully. (2 Corinthians 9:6)
[You reap what you sow, later than you sow, much more than you sow, and where you sow.]
The 3 laws of sowing and reaping are some of the most sure ones in the whole universe.
1) You always reap what you sow.
When you plant apple seeds, you get apple trees, never orange trees. When you sow good seeds (e.g. words of life and acts of kindness) into people …
