Today was another historical day of taking a stand for the WFJ GLOBAL MOVEMENT. Team destiny hosted their final of three WFJ (Words From Jesus) webinars in December 2009 called “The Miracle of Christmas.”

Dr. Joseph Peck served as the global connector and host of this webinar. The guest panelists were: Deb Smith, Richard Mayhan, Bertha Hinson, and me, Abigail Slocum. Clearly the Holy Spirit took control of the webinar before it ever started and never let go!

He began by waking me up at 3:22 AM to give me this prophetic word – WFJ: THE MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS IS CHRIST! It was His way of orchestrating the whole focus for the discussion. These are the questions we covered:

3. How does someone come into the LIGHT of Jesus?
4. What can people do to experience their most special Christmas ever?

WFJ: THE MIRACLE OF CHRISTMAS IS CHRIST!

Take the tour of the Word and be free in Christ. CHRISTMAS IS A SEASON FOR MIRACLES BUT EVERY DAY IS A MIRACLE IN CHRIST! TO BE IN CHRIST IS THE GREATEST MIRACLE OF ALL.

SALVATION IS THE GREATEST MIRACLE OF ALL. It is God’s free gift to all mankind. For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him shall be saved (have eternal life).(John 3:16).

What is so miraculous is that SALVATION IS THE “GREAT EXCHANGE!” MAN GIVES GOD HIS IMPERFECT, BROKEN, SINFUL LIFE IN EXCHANGE FOR A PERFECT (COMPLETE) LIFE IN CHRIST. JESUS GIVES HIS ALL FOR OUR ALL!

When you receive Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, the LIGHT OF THE WORLD – THE CANDLE OF MAN, comes into your heart to show you the most excellent way of all to live. IT IS THE WAY OF LOVE BECAUSE GOD IS LOVE.

In this “GREAT EXCHANGE,” your old sinful man dies and the new man comes alive in Christ. CHRIST LIVES THROUGH YOU to live the perfect will of God which is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17).

Unity of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is your inheritance as a born again child of God. IT IS A LIFE OF VICTORY AND TOTAL PROVISION. To be one with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit is to be free from every bondage of sin and to be free to experience the fullness and abundance of life in Christ Jesus. JESUS IS THE DOOR TO FREEDOM AND TOTAL FULFILLMENT.

Jesus’ arms are open wide and ALL THAT BELONGS TO THE FATHER OF LIGHTS IS YOURS WHEN YOU SAY “YES” TO JESUS who is the express image and likeness of God, and His Kingdom of Love becomes yours!

IT IS A SUPERNATURAL GIFT OF DIVINE INFUSION AND PROPORTION AND IS THE GREATEST MIRACLE OF ALL! Become one with the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. ALLOW THE PRINCE OF PEACE TO RULE IN YOUR HEART FOREVERMORE, for God set eternity in the heart of man. He loves YOU so much and nothing will ever separate YOU from His love.

LET THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD LIGHT YOUR PATH AND BE A BEACON OF HOPE TO ALL MANKIND. THE KING OF GLORY HAS CHOSEN AND MADE A WAY TO TAKE UP RESIDENCE IN YOUR HEART AND BE YOUR KING AND PRINCE OF PEACE. SAY YES TO HIM AND THE KINGDOM IS YOURS!

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL. The Redeemer wants to take all of you in your imperfection and transform you into the likeness of Christ. RECEIVE THE GREATEST GIFT KNOWN TO MANKIND AND LIVE “THE GREAT ADVENTURE” IN CHRIST. NOTHING CAN COMPARE TO THIS INDECSRIBABLE GIFT OF PURE AND PERFECT LOVE. It is greater than anything you ever wanted for Christmas for it is the desire of your heart. RECEIVE GOD’S GIFT AND SPEND THE REST OF YOUR NATURAL LIFE AND ETERNITY UNWRAPPING JESUS, GOD’S GIFT OF HIMSELF WHO IS PERFECT LOVE. THERE IS NO END TO LOVE. REJOICE AND BE AT PEACE. IMMANUEL HAS COME!

RECEIVE ALL OF THE GREATEST MIRACLE WHO EVER WAS OR IS TO COME! Let Christ have free reign in your heart and become His walking talking miracle and witness to all mankind. Your light has come. BE GLORIFIED IN HIS ETERNAL PRESENCE.

God is on the move and doing amazing things in this earth! He continues to draw the body of Christ together in unity for His purposes. People may not be aware of all or see all that the Lord is doing but He truly is “CONNECTING THE DOTS”.

THE MOMENTUM OF THE WFJ GLOBAL MOVEMENT IS BUILDING UP SPEED. The dam is about to break free and there will be undeniable evidence of God’s hand moving on His People. THE YOUTH WILL PLAY A BIG PART IN THE AWAKENING THAT WILL COME FORTH!

Upon awakening this morning I received a WFJ (Word From Jesus). It was just in time and so appropriate for the second webinar of three taking place at 8AM today. Dr. Randy Peck was hosting the Words From Jesus: How To Hear God’s Voice Webinar. Today’s topic was “The $14,400 Miracles!” The guest panelists were Doug Barclay, Bob Sims, and Bertha Hinson. During this life-changing, world changing webinar, they shared what Dr. Peck considered to be their BIGGEST GOD STORY FOR THE PAST SEVEN YEARS!

Without knowing what was going to be said today, this is what Jesus spoke to my heart. It’s so amazing how He is always right on time and right on target!

WFJ: SEEDTIME AND HARVEST

Now is the time of seedtime and harvest. I AM MOVING IN THIS EARTH IN UNUSUAL WAYS. I am the Lord of the Harvest. As long as the earth remains there is seedtime and harvest. I am planting My Word in the hearts of My people worldwide and they are speaking it out and it will bear much fruit. I DO NOT COMPROMISE MY WORD. It does not return void and it is accomplished.

MY WORD WILL BRING BILLIONS OF SOULS INTO MY KINGDOM. The Great Commission is going forth. I am also calling My people to sow financial seeds to bring in this end time harvest. SEEDS SOWN IN MY NAME FOR MY PURPOSES WILL REAP A GOD SIZED HARVEST. SPREAD MY WORD. SPREAD YOUR GIVING AND PARTAKE OF MY GLORY.

In October 2002, I first met Doug Barclay at a Fellowship of Christian Athletes retreat at The Cove in Asheville, NC. As a result of our discussion, Doug left his full-time job in sales to pursue full-time ministry work with Operation Mobilization.

Through a most peculiar series of circumstances, I was eventually prompted by the Holy Spirit to sow an UNCOMMON $14,4000 (12 x $1,200) seed into Doug’s life in February 2003, which was my largest financial gift up to that time. It so happened this was the exact amount (to the dollar) Doug needed to begin work with Operation Mobilization and he began his new job on 03-03-03. Coincidence? I don’t think so. Numbers are significant to God.

Today (December 5, 2009) is a historical day because the “WFJ GLOBAL MOVEMENT” WAS LAUNCHED!!! Dr. Randy Peck hosted the Webinar (WFJ) WORDS FROM JESUS: HOW TO HEAR GOD’S VOICE. The topic was “The Spiritual Triangle Between Virginia, the U.K. and Italy. His guest panelists were Renato and Patrizia Amato from Italy and Lynne Lee from the U.K.

You may be wondering what is this WFJ GLOBAL MOVEMENT? Simply put it is the worldwide sharing of the Words From Jesus one receives in their quiet time with the Lord Jesus Christ. It is the spiritual discipline of “Two Way Journaling,” namely written dialogue/prayer. This habit bears extraordinary fruit and creates major transformation. When shared it is wonderfully multiplied.

Renato and Patrizia have been missionaries for many years. They both have been journaling and recording the words they hear from Jesus for a long time. Renato began posting these “LIFE GIVING” words in his blog and called them WFJ (Words From Jesus). Other life time two way journalists: Lynne Lee , Dr. Randy Peck, Bertha Hinson and myself also began posting our own WFJ in our blogs.

We truly believe this is a God inspired idea led by the Holy Spirit to create a worldwide WFJ MOVEMENT. It will cause millions of people to desire to hear from God for themselves through two way journaling. Now more than any other time in history, people need to hear from God. People are so desperate and hungry to know that God loves them and has a purpose for their lives. He cares for them and wants to direct their lives step by step. God designed every human heart for relationship. God’s burning desire is to have an abiding intimate relationship with each one of us.

Long beore the Webinar began, the Lord woke me up at precisely 6:12 AM and prompted me to begin praying in the spirit and interceding with resurrection power for Dr. Randy Peck’s webinar today and for the WFJ GLOBAL MOVEMENT to begin with a bang!

The number 6:12 is significant.

6 is the # for man. I AM INTERCEDING FOR:

1. The eyes of man to be opened to this God-sized WFJ move of God.
2. The ears of man to be opened to this truth: UPON THIS WFJ ROCK OF REVELATION JESUS WILL BUILD HIS CHURCH”
3. The hearts of man to be drawn like magnets all over the world by the power of the Holy Spirit to this call of God to come to Jesus and His Word.
4. I pray for God to stir up a deep desire for men, women and children to want to learn how to two way journal so they can hear the voice of God for themselves and then publish His Word to the world.
5. I declare in Jesus name that the mouth of the enemy is being slammed shut and the Words of Jesus are exponentially exploding in the earth to overcome every lie.
6. Every knee of man will bow and every tongue of man will confess that JESUS IS LORD!

The number 12 is significant.

1. Twelve is the number for government and apostolic authority.
2. For unto us a child is born, unto us a Son is given: And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6)
3. Twelve is the number of tribes of Israel. I CALL the tribes of the Lion of Judah to ARISE and take their rightful place in the plan of God and to spread the GOOD NEWS to the ends of the earth with the WORDS OF JESUS!

I want to invite and encourage everyone reading this to become a part of this vital worldwide move of God. Remember that “Two Way Journaling is God’s Supernatural HIGHway to His Heart!” Just start where you are!

Be blessed and go in the name of Jesus today knowing that WE ARE HISTORYMAKERS DECLARING THE WORDS FROM JESUS TO A DYING WORLD GROANING FOR THE SONS OF MAN TO BE MANIFEST IN THIS EARTH!

Those are the lyrics to a poem written by Hugh Traulsen in the 1980′s titled “Caring / Sharing.” He dedicated that poem to his wife Ann after she died from a rare form of lung cancer in 2007.

I first got connected to Hugh on July 4, 2009, FREEDOM day in America when we celebrate the birth of our nation. On that historic morning, I discovered the most profound voice message of my life from Hugh. Hugh’s message led me to promptly call him and God immediately connected our hearts.

Even though Hugh has very little money and is disabled, he has turned out to be one of my greatest blessings of 2009. Through Hugh, I got connected to Karen Hannon.

Karen opened the door for me to do two live seminars in Glen Allen (Richmond) Virginia on Sept 1 titled “Establish A Powerful Online Presence.” The purpose is to inspire people to share their stories, products, and services with the world. That’s my God-given gift – CONNECTING.

During the live group webinar on Aug 6 for Week 6 of our UNCOMMON Internet Marketing Coaching course, Jerry pointed out an important blog post that he wrote on July 29 titled “To Blog Or Not To Blog.”

On June 30, I participated in a teleseminar hosted by Bernadette Doyle called “7 Secrets to Attracting All the Clients You Want.” After listening to Bernadette for about 60 minutes, I was absolutely convinced she knows what she is talking about and operating in her ‘sweet spot,” so I enrolled in her training program.

Who are you upsetting? Who are you connecting? Who are you leading?

Then Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which the LORD has commanded: (Numbers 30:1)

Yesterday morning, Michael Stay sent me an email with a link to a profound video with Seth Goodin talking about tribes. This was in follow up to our strategic planning meeting on May 14.

Seth says we are living during a major transition with how ideas are shared and spread. We are in a new model of leadership. Changes are no longer made with money and power. Tribes are what matter now. It’s tribes that can change our world, not because they force people but because people want to connect. Assemble tribes that assemble tribes that becomes a movement.

Seth then asks, “Who are you upsetting? Who are you connecting? Who are you leading?”

Most movements are about finding a group that’s disconnected, but already has a yearning. Change comes by affecting the “who” not the mechanics of what you are doing. People are waiting for you to lead them.

Tribe Leaders …
1) Challenge the status quo
2) Build a culture
3) Connect people to one another. More than anything else, people want to feel missed.
4) Commit to the cause, to the tribe, to the people who are there.

Challenge: Do something. It only takes 24 hours to create a movement.

I ask You to help me assemble a modern-day Gideon army, a tribe, to inspire people around the world to the greatness You designed them for. Thank You Jesus for being my Shepherd, for making me lie down in green pastures, for guiding me in the steps of righteousness and leading me for Your own name sake. Anoint me from the heavens. Anoint me from the Holy Temple. Anoint me from Zion, O Lord.

Wow! Wow! Wow! If I took the time to share a fraction of all that God is doing, I’d be writing for a week.

The “One Month To Live” series that Matt Gregory just led the congregation at Soul Purpose Church through has had a profound impact on me.

As I mentioned in my April 20 devotional, one of the three assignments on Day 1 was this, “Without thinking too hard or too long, make a list of five things you’d change about your life if you knew you only had a month to live. Choose at least one to begin changing today, right now.”

Well I wrote down my list of 5 things to do if I had only one month to live. And that brought laser focus and very purposeful action. I’ve been able to say “no” to lots of things I shouldn’t be doing. I’m well on my way to accomplishing all 5 of those things. Amazing. God has really honored this commitment with major breakthroughs.

Yesterday, Matt concluded this 5 week sermon series with a message titled “Leave Boldly!” He addressed 3 questions:

1) What will be the center of my life?
2) What will be the character of my life?
3) What will be the contribution of your life?

What is your exit status?

1) I’m ready to leave boldly. I know Jesus and have made a valuable contribution with the life He has given me.

2) I’m ready to leave, but not boldly. I know Jesus, but I have unfinished business.

3) I’m not certain of my status. I’m not sure I know Jesus or have completed what He wanted me to do with my life.

4) I am not ready. I do not know Jesus nor have I completed His purpose for my life.

Heavenly Father, thank You for Pastor Matt Gregory and leading him to lead our congregation through the One Month To Live series. Thank You for the profound impact this is having on me. How would you rate your health in each of these four areas — spiritual, physical, emotional, relational — from 1 (terrible) to 10 (fantasic)?

Today is Day 5 in our 30 days series titled “One Month To Live,” based on Kerry and Chris Shook’s book by that same title. “One Month To Live empowers you to focus on being who God created you to be – passionate, fully alive, living without regrets.”

If you’ve flown before on a commercial airline, you probably are familiar with this routine airline safety announcement, “In the event that our cabin pressure should change, an oxygen mask will be released from the overhead compartment. Please place the oxygen mask on yourself first before helping small children or others who may need assistance.”

While it may seem obvious that you can’t help anyone if you have passed out from lack of oxygen yourself, I’ve been guilty over the past few years of putting the oxygen mask on many others without taking in enough oxygen myself.

I confess that I have grossly undervalued my time and made poor choices that have allowed numerous Christians and Christian organizations to soak up my time and financial resources to the point where my income and business has become cachectic. Julia and I have sown every last penny we own into God’s Kingdom work.

We’ve reached the point where we must be STRATEGIC in business and ministry. We can no longer afford to offer free services to any businesses or organizations.

It’s not that we don’t care. We simply don’t have any more money or time to give away.

Here are some excerpts from Chapter 5 of Kerry and Chris’ book.

Jesus indicates that before we can really love others and make a difference in their lives, we have to first love ourselves. You have to first take time to get healthy so you can impact the world around you.

Get Physical: Whether you have thirty days or thirty years left, you should realize that how you treat your body has a direct and lasting impact on the quality of life you enjoy. Our bodies require sleep, exercise, clean air, water, and quality nourishment. To be healthy physically, we must be healthy spiritually and listen to what God says about our bodies. How Do You Feel: The next crucial area where we must breathe first is in our emotional lives. So many people function according to how they feel. A huge part of maturing, of growing up, is learning to acknowledge and experience our emotions without being controlled by them. “For God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power and of love and self-control” (2 Timothy 1:7, RSV).

Relationally Connected: The whole reason we put the oxygen mask on ourselves first is so we can breathe in and get healthy and help someone find God’s oxygen. Breathing first is not selfish. It’s essential.

Heavenly Father, forgive me for putting the oxygen mask on many others while neglecting myself. Thank You for your wake up call. I finally get it. May I never forget this life lesson. May many others benefit from the hard lesson I have learned. Thank You Jesus. Amen and hallelujah!

Make It Last For Life – 3 simple action steps to apply today’s message

1) How would you rate your health in each of these four areas — spiritual, physical, emotional, relational — from 1 (terrible) to 10 (fantasic)? What’s the greatest challenge to improving your health in these areas? What can you do to work through this challenge?

2) Spend time journaling about a specific goal for each of these four areas that you can pursue during the rest of this month. Make sure the goals are practicle and measurable.

3) Connect daily to www.OneMonthToLive.com and spend fifteen to thirty mintues working on your spiritual, physical, emotional, and relational health.

When I was on my last biweekly RCN (Relational Coaching Network) conference call with Jerry Graham, Ben Stewart, and Deb Smith, Deb said something that really stuck out to me. She talked about “the fullness of time” and how we must be patient and wait upon the LORD and His perfect timing before we see His Master plan revealed.

Well, today is one of those days, a day of supernatural convergence. In June 2005, my wife and I sowed a huge financial seed into the Kingdom of God to impact Wellness around the world. And today at Noon EST, Jerry Graham (Ph.D.), Sharon Graham (R.N., N.C.), and I (M.D.) are finally doing our very first public Wellness webinar.

In December 2006, I stepped away from my easiest, most enjoyable, highest paying anesthesia job of my life, to take a sabbatical year in 2007. During the middle of that year, the LORD connected me to Jerry and Sharon Graham, who turned out to be the most experienced Wellness coaches I have ever personally known in my life. I also began a year long training process to become a certified Lifeforming Leadership Coach. That coach training turned out to be the best and most practical training of my entire life and I had lots of training as a practicing physician for 25 years.

In retrospect, the major life transition that took place during my sabbatical year got me in alignment with my assignment. Now my focus as a physician and Destiny Coach is WELLNESS – of leaders, businesses, and communities.

Wellness is completely different than traditional health care. The latter is about running away from something negative – disease. Wellness, on the other hand, is about moving toward something desirable. It’s focusing on something positive. According to Napolean Hill, a famous author, “What your mind can conceive, you can achieve.”

We’ve heard it said that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. But when it comes to our own health, I think an ounce of prevention is worth a TON of cure. Why? Because once your health goes awry, you might never be able to recover. For nearly all of us, our health becomes our most treasured asset when it is lost or threatened.

We live in a hurry-sick culture. Because love and hurry are incompatible, relationships are suffering. And that leads to stress, lots of it. Do you know that the latest studies coming out of major medical centers in the United States show that about 90% of all illness is directly related to stress.

Technology in health care systems in America is the best it’s ever been. Yet people in America are sicker than ever in the history of our nation. We are seeing unprecedented epidemics of numerous illnesses. For example, there has been a dramatic increase in obesity, depression, diabetes, gastric reflux, sleep disorders, dementia, etc.

So what? Now what? How does this apply to you?

Coaching is not coaching unless the client takes some action. Transformation requires ACTION. Walt Disney said, “The way to get started is to quit talking and begin doing.” And Bill Gates said, “If we don’t act on a good idea within 24 hours, we are less than 50% likely to ever act on it. If we haven’t acted on it inside of days, then we are less than 2% likely to ever act on it.”

It’s no accident you are here. My recommendation is to go with your gut. Your gut is rarely wrong. What is your gut feeling right now? What action step do you feel prompted to take? And when will you take that action?
