Suddenly

28 July 2009 2 Comments

Now behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the prison; and he struck Peter on the side and raised him up, saying, “Arise quickly!” And his chains fell off his hands. (Acts 12:7)

Today during our weekly Marching Through Culpeper prayer call, Bob Sims shared a vision he saw during the call of something heavy like an inverted bell. He saw the hand of God hooking the bell with a cable that couldn’t come off. You could use this cable to get across a canyon. Bob senses God is going to provide a way that is a quick and secure way to get across to a new place that seems impassible without a bridge.

Bob said his spirit quickened when he heard Virginia talking about having her book made into a dramatic radio broadcast. Bob said radio is often better for imagination. Bob said the extremely rapid growth in the MTC team is like a butterfly coming out of its cacoon. It’s acceleration. “Suddenly” is the Word from God.

Bob’s message about “suddenly” prompted me to share Kim Clement’s message I heard on TBN at 11:20 pm on 2009-07-23. Kim said:

  • God does 3 things with people and things in this order: Creation, Formation, Transformation
  • Truth has 3 parts: Revelation (knowledge), Illumination (understanding of the revelation), Inspiration (communication)
  • How many of you believe in the “suddenly’s” of God
  • Your labor has not been in vain.
  • “Before you can word it, you have to work it.” – Faith without action is dead

Blessings to be ready for God’s “suddenly!”

Thanks for sharing this, Randy. Suddenly, I feel inspired. Suddenly, I can hear the storm rumbling in the distance. Suddenly, my spirit is quickened as my Lord says, “Prepare, Carrie. Prepare. I have a great plan for you that will come upon you SUDDENLY and you will not know what hit you. Rest assured, I am with you, and will supply all that you will need.” Suddenly, I feel at peace in the arms of my Savior who has a perfect plan for me.
